Being (Chelsea) from the exhibition Being & Time which centers on two fish-based memories, both relating to imagination formation and a particular lifelong friendship with a woman named Chelsea Brown. These works comprise a range of visualizations of the phenomenon of reconciling memory and friendship with the ultimately foreign and abstruse world of the artist’s practice.
