Tiny White Things I is a part of the exhibition Being & Time (Memories of Fish) which centers on two fish-based memories, both relating to imagination formation and a particular lifelong friendship. The piece simulates a specific memory of the artists’: finding fish vertebrae on a deck during a family trip as a young child. The piece asks the viewer to consider their own similar memories, to remember the experience of Things when they were new and without context.
