Oread Biore borrows its form from a skincare product—the Biore pore strip, which is applied to a dampened nose, allowed to harden, then peeled off once dry to extract blackheads. The title refers to the Greek nymph of coniferous mountain forests, and the piece was partially inspired by an h.d. poem of the same name.
